According to the instruction manual, the O-ring inside the waterproof collar should be lubricated every 3 months. To lubricate the O-ring, you can use the Super Lube that is supplied with the product. Simply apply some Super Lube on a cotton tip applicator and move the greased end of the applicator around the inside diameter of the aluminum ring. This helps to maintain the sealing surfaces and ensure proper functioning of the seal. If you experience any noise, such as squeaking, grinding, or rubbing sounds when rotating the wrist, it is recommended to remove the terminal device from the forearm, clean the collar and the endcap with a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol, and reapply Super Lube. If the noise persists, it is advised to consider the wrist no longer waterproof and return it to Motion Control for servicing as soon as possible.
