To install the HIKVISION DS-1299ZJ Pendant Mount on a flat wall, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the wall is flat and capable of supporting over 3 times the total weight of the camera and the bracket.
2. Prepare the necessary tools for installation, including a drill, screws, and a waterproof rubber seal (if using the mount outdoors).
3. Position the bracket on the desired location of the wall. Mark the positions of the xxxx holes on the wall using a pencil or marker.
4. Use a drill to create holes at the marked positions on the wall. Make sure the holes are deep enough to securely hold the screws.
5. Insert the screws into the holes, leaving a portion of the xxxx exposed for mounting the bracket.
6. Place the bracket over the screws and align the holes on the bracket with the exposed portions of the screws.
7. Tighten the screws to securely attach the bracket to the wall. Ensure that the bracket is firmly fixed and does not wobble.
8. If using the mount outdoors, apply a waterproof rubber seal around the cable hole on the bracket to prevent water ingress.
9. Adjust the angle of the bracket as needed for proper camera positioning. The DS-1299ZJ Pendant Mount allows for adjustable angles.
10. Once the bracket is securely installed, you can mount the camera onto the bracket using the appropriate mounting mechanism provided with the camera.
