Descaling the SILVERCREST SWKC 3000 E3 Water Kettle is important to remove scale deposits and ensure optimal performance. Here's how you can descale the kettle:
1. Use a descaler designed for household appliances, such as a descaler for coffee machines.
2. Follow the instructions provided with the descaling agent for the correct ratio and procedure.
3. Before descaling, ensure that the kettle is unplugged from the power socket and completely cooled down.
4. Fill the kettle with the descaling solution up to the maximum capacity mark.
5. Place the kettle on the base and plug it into the power socket.
6. Switch on the kettle and let the descaling solution heat up until it reaches boiling point.
7. Allow the descaling solution to sit in the kettle for the recommended amount of time specified by the descaling agent instructions.
8. After the recommended time, switch off the kettle and unplug it from the power socket.
9. Carefully pour out the descaling solution from the kettle.
10. Rinse the kettle thoroughly with clean water multiple times to remove any remaining descaling solution.
11. Wipe the kettle dry with a clean cloth before using it again.
