To connect the Hori SPF-030A Tactical Assault Commander Mechanical Key Pad to your PlayStation 5, please follow these steps:
1. Connect your mouse (USB cable or USB dongle) to the USB port on the TAC Keypad. Note that Bluetooth wireless mice cannot connect directly to the TAC. If you are using a Bluetooth wireless mouse, please connect it directly to the console.
2. Set the System Select Switch on the bottom of the keypad to the appropriate setting. Make sure to set this before connecting to the hardware, as the product will not function properly if the wrong mode is selected.
3. Connect the product to the console using the USB Type-A cable provided. Then, use the DualSense Wireless Controller (or DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller) to turn on the console and log in.
4. Push the (PS) button on the TAC to activate it.
5. While holding the FN Key, use the WASD keys, 3 (j) key, and 4 (k) key to log in and operate the Home Screen. You can use the FN Key to switch the functions of other keys. Refer to the "Reset to Default (Key Settings)" section in the manual for more details.
6. After logging in, you can also use the Stick, Enter (Select), and ESC (Return) to operate the Home Screen and select software.
Please note that you should make sure the game you are playing is compatible with keyboard and mouse mode. If keyboard mode does not function, hold the FN key and select the control option in the game to choose keyboard and mouse mode if available.
