To clean the Hatco GR3SDH and GR3SDS Series Glo-Ray Heated Glass Merchandisers, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the unit, unplug the power cord(s), and allow the unit to cool.
2. Remove any remaining food product from the unit.
3. Wipe down the hardcoated heated base and all metal surfaces using a clean, damp cloth. Stubborn stains can be removed with a non-abrasive cleaner. Use a small brush and mild soap to clean hard-to-reach areas.
4. Clean the heated glass shelves and glass side panels using ordinary glass cleaner and a soft cloth or paper towel.
5. If your unit has plastic sneeze guards or flip-up doors, clean them using soft cleaning cloths, mild soap, and water. Do not use paper towel or glass cleaner on plastic surfaces to avoid scratching.
6. Do not use food pans, ceramic dishes, or abrasive materials on the heated glass shelf to prevent scratching. Damage caused by misuse is not covered under warranty.
7. Do not slide pans across the hardcoat surface, use rough-bottomed pans, or drop anything on the hardcoat surface to avoid scratching. Damage caused by misuse is not covered under warranty.
8. Do not allow the glass shelf to overheat, as it may cause food containers to melt or soften.
9. Avoid cleaning the unit when it is energized or hot to prevent accidents.
10. Clean the unit daily to maintain sanitary operation and avoid malfunctions.
