To connect the Smart Gateways Gasmeter Gateway to your smart meter, follow these steps:
1. For new meters from the Netherlands, Belgium, and Sweden, no external power supply is required. Simply connect the gateway to the smart meter via the RJ12 plug.
2. For older DSMR2 and DSMR4 meters in the Netherlands, you will need to power the gateway using an adapter with a micro USB connection (not included). Connect the gateway to the smart meter via the RJ12 plug after powering it. Note that if the gateway is connected to the meter without a separate power supply, the red light will illuminate but the gateway will not start. If the blue LED never lights up even though Wi-Fi is configured correctly, this indicates that the gateway needs an external power supply.
3. For Belgian meters, you need to activate the P1 port. Contact Fluvius for assistance with activating the P1 port.
