Yes, QUIETBOARD Premium Acoustical and Insulating Fiber Board can be used with carpet and carpet tiles. It is designed for use with all vinyl planks and tiles, laminate, floating and glue-down wood, cork, bamboo, carpet, and carpet tile. The sound reduction underlay system is suitable for use over most types of industry-approved subfloors, including 3/4" plywood, concrete, and OSB flooring. Before installation, make sure the subfloor is clean, smooth, and free of dust and debris. Additionally, ensure that wood subfloor moisture readings do not exceed 12% and that concrete is at least 60 days old with an emission rate not exceeding 7lbs/1000sf/24hrs per calcium chloride test. Follow the installation instructions provided in the manual for the specific type of flooring you are using.
