To set up the Canon GX4050 printer, please follow the instructions below:
1. Unpack the printer: Remove all packaging materials and protective tapes from the printer.
2. Connect the power cord: Plug one end of the power cord into the printer's power socket and the other end into a power outlet.
3. Install the ink tanks: Open the printer cover and wait for the print head holder to move to the ink tank installation position. Remove the orange protective cap from each ink tank and insert them into their corresponding slots. Press down until you hear a click.
4. Load paper: Open the paper support extension and adjust the paper guides to match the paper size you are using. Load the paper into the rear tray, aligning it with the right edge and sliding it in until it stops.
5. Install the printer driver: Insert the provided CD-ROM into your computer's CD drive. The setup program should start automatically. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the printer driver.
6. Connect the printer to your computer: Use a USB cable (not included) to connect the printer to your computer. Make sure both devices are powered on.
7. Complete the setup: Once the printer driver installation is complete, you may be prompted to perform a test print. Follow the instructions on your computer screen to perform the test print.
