To update the firmware of your Canon 3 printer using Remote UI, follow these steps:
1. Connect your printer to your network.
2. Open a web browser on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
3. Enter the IP address of your printer in the address bar in the following format: http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX (replace XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX with the actual IP address of your printer).
4. The Remote UI login screen will be displayed. Select "Log in" and enter the password. Click "OK" to proceed.
5. The Remote UI top screen will be displayed.
6. Select "Firmware update" from the menu.
7. Select "Install update" and check the onscreen message.
8. Select "Update" to start the firmware update process.
Note: Make sure to regularly check for firmware updates as they may include improvements to security functionality.
