To install the Lindby E14 Golf Ball LED Bulb, please follow these steps:
1. Carefully unpack the product and check that it is complete and undamaged. Do not use the light if there is any damage to the cable, glass, or electrical parts. Contact the service address provided in the manual if there is any damage.
2. Read through the installation instructions carefully to avoid any errors or hazards. Keep the instructions for future reference and pass them on to subsequent owners or users of the product.
3. Ensure that you comply with the national installation and safety regulations for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the light. Always follow the symbols and warnings on the packaging and in the installation instructions.
4. If you are not trained in the electrical trade, it is recommended to have a trained electrician connect the electricity supply. Only a trained electrician should replace damaged electrical cables.
5. Take note of the smallest distance to illuminated areas mentioned in the installation sketch. The lights are not suitable for covering with thermal insulation materials or direct installation on normally flammable surfaces. They should only be installed on non-combustible surfaces.
6. The Lindby E14 Golf Ball LED Bulb is intended for lighting purposes. Do not expose the light to excessive mechanical loads, stresses, or heavy soiling. Any use other than intended can damage the product and pose hazards such as short-circuits, electric shocks, or fires.
7. Before cleaning or performing maintenance, ensure that the light is cooled and disconnected from the power supply. Use a dry or lightly moistened cloth for regular cleaning and avoid using chemicals or abrasive cleaners/scouring agents.
8. When disposing of the light, do not throw it in normal household waste. Instead, hand it in at a collection point for the recycling of large electrical and electronic appliances.
