To remove pressmarks or folding marks from your IKEA Chenille Fabric, you can follow these steps:
1. Gently stroke the fabric with your hand in the direction of the pile. This can help smooth out the marks.
2. Use a soft clothes brush to brush the fabric in the direction of the pile. This can also help remove the marks.
3. You can also use a vacuum cleaner with a soft nozzle attachment to gently suction away the marks.
4. If the marks persist, you can try using a steamer to restore the fabric. Alternatively, you can use the steam function on an iron, but make sure not to press directly onto the fabric to avoid damaging it.
5. For removable covers, it is recommended to iron the chenille cover on the reverse side at a low temperature (110°C) before putting it on your sofa for the first time. Avoid ironing the cover on the side with the pile, as it can damage the pile.
