The Fisher Paykel RDV2-486GL-N_N Dual Fuel Range has a self-cleaning function for the oven and removable side racks for easy cleaning. To clean the oven using the self-cleaning function, follow these steps:
1. Remove all racks and accessories from the oven.
2. Close the oven door.
3. Press the "Clean" button on the control panel.
4. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to select the desired cleaning time (2, 3, or 4 hours).
5. Press the "Start" button to begin the self-cleaning cycle.
6. The oven will lock automatically and heat up to a high temperature to burn off any food residue.
7. After the cleaning cycle is complete, the oven will cool down and the door will unlock. It is important to wait until the oven has cooled down before opening the door.
8. Once the oven has cooled down, use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe away any remaining ash or residue.
For cleaning the cooktop, the sealed burners and encapsulated cooking surface with a commercial-style stainless steel finish make it easy to clean. Simply wipe down the cooktop with a damp cloth or sponge and mild detergent. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scrub brushes that may damage the surface.
