To install the LEDALITE ID-77 Sona Suspended LED fixtures, follow these steps:
1. Arrange the boxed fixtures on the floor in the specified mounting locations and remove them from the boxes. Install all ceiling mounting components and vertical aircraft cables using separate installation instructions for Aircraft Cable Mounting.
2. Install the cable gripper by inserting it into the cross plate holes as shown. Pivot the cable gripper up. Repeat this step at another end of the light fixture.
3. Suspend the fixture by raising it up to the suspension cables and feeding them through the grippers. Set the fixture to the desired height. Slide the diffuser back from the cross plate if needed.
4. Install the power cord by inserting the supplied 1/2" bushing into the 1/2" electrical knockout on the wire cover reflector. Crimp the supplied strain relief onto the power cord insulation. Ensure the power cord does not have excess slack or is too tight. Complete the necessary electrical connections in compliance with local codes and tuck the wires into the wiring cavity.
5. If joining multiple fixtures, break apart the joiner pair by twisting them apart. Insert joiner brackets into the cross plate, ensuring they lock into place. With two people, raise the second fixture to the ceiling.
6. At the joint, rest joiner aligners in the suspended fixture at another end (opposite joint) and insert the aircraft cable through the adjuster.
7. Complete in-row electrical connections. For non-power locations, use supplied quick-wire connectors and tuck the wires into the wire cavity. For power locations, remove installed quick-wire connectors and complete electrical connections using wire nuts supplied by others. Tuck the wires into the wiring cavity.
8. Slide the fixtures together and secure the joint using the supplied nut and bolt hardware. Slide the diffuser back under the tab after securing the hardware.
9. Level all fixtures/rows horizontally by loosening the horizontal leveling xxxx located on the bottom of the adjuster and leveling as required. Tighten the xxxx once the mount is in a level position. Adjust vertically by supporting the fixture from below and pressing down on the vertical adjustment pin to make fine height adjustments.
10. Install the endcaps by attaching them to the first and last module in each row using the supplied hardware. Slide the diffuser back under the tab on the cross plate after securing the hardware. Do not over-tighten the endcap screws.
