The HUF13145 Door Handle with NFC is designed to enable users of a car with a passive entry system to lock and unlock the doors using a key fob or an authorized NFC device. When an NFC device approaches the NFC antenna on the door handle, a signal is sent to the electronic control unit (ECU) to initiate the authorization sequence for unlocking or locking the door. The door handle communicates with the ECU using a one-wire interface and with the NFC device using Near Field Communication. The NFC communication between the door handle and the NFC device occurs at a proximity range of up to 2cm. The door handle is equipped with an NFC reader that follows the ISO 14443-A standard and uses a PCB loop antenna. The NFC frequency rate is 13.56 MHz ± 7 kHz, and the data rate is 106 kb/s. The door handle also complies with regulatory requirements, such as FCC and Industry Canada standards, to ensure proper operation and minimize interference.
