To install the LEDALITE ID-7508 Chopstick Linear Wall LED fixtures, please follow the steps outlined in the instruction manual:
1. Determine the power feed location and install a 2"x4" J-box parallel to the fixture. Complete the electrical connections at the J-box.
2. Install the wall bracket at the power locations. You can either feed the power cord through the top of the wall bracket and attach it to the J-box cover, or install the wall bracket within 2-5" from the fixture end, close to the power supply.
3. Install additional wall brackets at non-power locations as required for single fixtures or continuous rows. Ensure that these brackets are level with the first bracket and attached to the wall structure within 2-5" from the ends of the fixture. For an 8ft fixture, attach an additional bracket within 2-5" from the centerline.
4. Arrange the fixtures on the floor in the specified mounting locations and remove them from the boxes. If conditions are dusty or dirty, it is recommended to leave the fixtures in their plastic bags and cut small holes in the bag as needed for installation.
5. Remove the top reflector by sliding it to one side and lifting it off.
6. Install the required number of rail brackets on the housing, sliding them along the length of the housing to approximate the location matching the brackets on the wall.
7. With two people, raise the fixture and engage it on the wall brackets by hooking it onto the top of the brackets. Secure the bracket using the supplied hardware and level the fixture before final tightening.
8. Complete the electrical connections by breaking the required 1/2" round knockout(s) in the wire cover, inserting the supplied bushing, and feeding the power cable through it. Apply the supplied strain relief to the power cord and complete the electrical connections using wire nuts. Tuck the wires into the wire cavity.
9. Install the joiner aligners for each additional fixture in the row, inserting them into the crossplate.
10. Install and join additional fixtures to create the row by sliding spring clips onto the existing wall-mounted fixture and engaging the joiner aligners through the gasket and into the wall-mounted fixture. Install a wall bracket at the other end of the joining fixture.
11. Complete the electrical connections at the joint using quick-wire connectors for non-power locations and wire nuts for power locations. Tuck the wires into the wiring cavity.
12. Secure the fixtures at the joint using the supplied hardware and ensure they are flush against each other. Secure and level the fixtures to the wall bracket.
13. Attach the endcaps to the first and last module in each row using the supplied hardware. Do not over-tighten the endcap hardware.
14. Install the lightguide panel by peeling the protective layer from both sides and installing it shiny side down in the fixture.
15. Re-install the top reflector.
