To install the LEDALITE ID-1228 Jump Wall LED fixtures, follow these steps:
1. Prepare Fixtures: Arrange the boxed fixtures on the floor in the designated mounting locations and remove them from the boxes.
2. Attach Brackets to Wall: Use appropriate hardware (1/4 fastener recommended) to attach the brackets to the wall. Ensure that the structure can support the weight of the fixture (3.5 lbs/ft). Use the center holes for non-power locations and the outer holes for power locations. For power locations, a vertically oriented 2x4 recessed utility box is required. Use a spirit level to ensure the brackets are level and adjust the mounting screws as needed.
3. Complete Electrical Connections in Wall (Power locations only): Feed the power cable through the hole in the mounting bracket and complete the electrical connection to the junction box through the square cutout in the mounting bracket.
4. Slide-on Wall Covers: Slide on the wall covers and use the supplied #8 lock-nut to secure them to the cantilever bracket (non-power mount shown).
5. Attach Fixture Hanging Brackets: Attach the fixture hanging brackets to the cantilever brackets using the supplied -20 bolts. Do not fully tighten.
6. Slide Power Plates into Fixture: Slide the power plates into the ends of the fixtures on the floor. Attach the supplied bushings in power locations and plugs in non-power locations.
7. Install Mounting Bracket: Install the mounting bracket.
8. Attach the Fixture to the Bracket: Raise the fixture to the brackets and use the supplied countersunk xxxx with the countersunk washer to attach the fixture to the bracket. Adjust the fixture hanging brackets so that the fixture is flush with the cantilever arm and tighten.
9. Run and Secure Power Cables: Run the power cable down the fixture channel and through the power plate at the end of the fixture. Secure the power cable into the fixture channel using the supplied cable clips at 4-inch increments. Complete the power connections using the cutout at the end of the fixture.
10. Attach Joiner Aligner Brackets: Slide the variable mount bracket into the next fixture in the run on the floor. Attach the joiner-aligner brackets to the opposite side.
11. Suspend and Join Additional Fixtures to Create Row: Raise the next fixture to the cantilever bracket and insert the joiner aligners into the corresponding slots on the already installed fixture. Attach the variable mount bracket to the next cantilever arm following steps 8-9.
12. Complete Power Connections: Complete the power connections between fixtures.
13. Finishing: Join the fixtures using the supplied #8 screws and lock nuts. Repeat steps 8-12 for each fixture in the run.
14. Attach End Cap: Snap-on the gasket to the end of the fixture and attach the end caps using the supplied #8 screws. Install lenses as shown.
