To install the WASP Occupancy Sensor, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the power at the service panel before installing the sensor.
2. For surface mount installation, electrically connect the sensor to the lighting system per the applicable wiring diagram provided in the manual.
3. Attach the sensor to the fixture or electrical box using the provided mounting screws. Make sure the mounting holes are 2.75" on center.
4. Adjust the sensor operation by setting the DIP switches as described in the manual.
5. Attach the sensor lens to the sensor module and rotate it clockwise to lock it into place.
6. Turn on the power and allow the sensor at least 2 minutes to stabilize.
7. Verify that the sensor is functioning by waving your hand under the lens and observing that the sensor's red light flashes.
For end mount installation, follow similar steps but insert the sensor's wires and threaded xxxx into a 1/2" knockout on the fixture body or an electrical junction box. Make sure the sensor is positioned correctly and tighten the lock-nut onto the sensor's threaded xxxx .
Please refer to the manual for more detailed instructions and diagrams specific to your sensor model and wiring configuration.
