To install the Commercial Electric WR484040EFL LED Emergency Wrap Light, follow these steps:
1. Before beginning the installation, make sure to disconnect the power to the circuit by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse.
2. Start by installing the screws (AA) into the junction box.
3. Remove the lens (B) from the chassis (A) by rotating the hinged endcap (C) away from the chassis.
4. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the channel cover screws (E) and remove the channel cover.
5. Remove the pre-punched knockout (1) at the center of the chassis and feed the white, black, and ground fixture wires through the knockout hole.
6. Ensure that 3/8 in. of the wire sheathing is removed from the end of the black, white, and green fixture wires to expose the copper wires.
7. Using the included wire nuts (BB), connect the yellow/green fixture ground wire with the building power supply ground wire, connect the white fixture wire with the white building power supply wire, and connect the black fixture wires with the black building supply wire.
8. After ensuring all wire nut connections are secure, gently tuck all wire connections back into the junction box.
9. Attach the fixture (A) to the junction box by aligning the holes on the fixture with the junction box screws (AA) installed in the previous step. Rotate the fixture until properly aligned with the room orientation and tighten the xxxx heads with a Phillips screwdriver.
10. Slide the channel cover flange under the locking tabs on the fixture chassis and ensure all wires are tucked under the channel cover. Squeeze the channel cover until the flange on the opposite side is able to slide under the locking flanges on the opposite side. Replace the channel cover screws (E) using a Phillips screwdriver.
11. Carefully slide the end of the lens (B) into the fixed endcap on the fixture base (A). Rotate the hinged endcap (C) outward and ensure the full length of the lens is flat against the fixture base. Allow the hinged endcap to rotate inward until it is resting against the lens.
