To clean the glass ceramic surface of the hob, follow these steps:
1. Wait for the surface to cool down after each use.
2. Use a damp soft cloth to remove minor impurities from the surface. Wipe the surface dry afterward.
3. For stubborn dirt, use special glass-ceramic cleaners following the manufacturer's instructions. Thoroughly remove any cleaner residues after cleaning.
4. If there are water stains, you can use a mild solution of vinegar to remove them. However, do not use this solution on the frame (if applicable) as it may damage the sheen.
5. For stubborn and burnt residues, you can use a scraper. Hold the scraper at a 45° to 60° angle and gently slide it over the surface to remove the dirt. Be careful not to scratch the hob surface with the scraper.
6. Avoid using steel wool, coarse cleaning sponges, abrasive powders, aggressive spray cleaners, or unsuitable liquid cleaners as they may damage the surface.
7. Immediately remove any sugar or sugar-laden food from the hob using a scraper, even if the hob is still hot, as sugar may permanently damage the glass ceramic surface.
Note: The scraper is not included with the appliance. Only use the scraper when dirt cannot be removed with a wet cloth or special cleaners for glass ceramic surfaces. Be cautious not to scratch the hob surface with the scraper.
