To install the TRANE X1365149701 Rover Service Tool, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your laptop meets the hardware and software requirements mentioned in the installation guide. These requirements include having a minimum of 1 GB RAM (2 GB for 64-bit systems), 1024 x 768 screen resolution, Ethernet 10/100 LAN card, an available USB 2.0 port, and the appropriate Windows operating system (Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows 10, or Windows 11).
2. Close all open programs and virus protection software on your laptop.
3. Insert the Rover USB flash drive into your laptop.
4. Navigate to the Setup.exe file on the USB flash drive and double-click it to start the installation process.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. Make sure to set your screen resolution to 1024 x 768 or higher when prompted.
6. After the installation is complete, double-click the Rover icon on your desktop.
7. Click on the "Registration" option to register Rover. You will need an internet connection and the authorization code from your flash drive.
