To cook different meats to different doneness levels using the Ninja DG650 Series Foodi Dual Thermometer, follow these steps:
1. Plug the thermometer into the jack on the left or right side of the unit, depending on which thermometer you want to use.
2. Press the Thermometer 1 or Thermometer 2 button to enable the thermometer settings.
3. Use the arrows to the right of the display to select the desired food type for each thermometer. For example, select "Steak" for Thermometer 1 and "Chicken" for Thermometer 2.
4. Use the arrows to the left of the display to set the internal doneness level for each thermometer. The options range from "Rare" to "Well" for both Thermometer 1 and Thermometer 2.
5. Once you have set the desired food type and internal doneness level for each thermometer, select the cooking function (e.g., Grill, Roast, etc.) and adjust the temperature and cook time as needed.
6. Preheat the unit if required for the selected cooking function.
7. Insert the thermometer horizontally into the center of the thickest part of each piece of meat, making sure it is close to the bone and away from any fat or gristle.
8. Close the hood and start the cooking process.
9. The unit will automatically stop cooking when the desired doneness level is almost reached, taking into account carry-over cooking. The display will indicate "GET FOOD" when it's time to remove the meat.
10. Transfer the meat to a plate and let it rest for 3-5 minutes to complete the cooking process.
By following these steps, you can cook different types of meats to different levels of doneness using the Ninja DG650 Series Foodi Dual Thermometer.
