The DROP water softener system provides notifications when it is time to add salt. You can also manually check the salt level in the brine tank by lifting the lid and visually inspecting the salt level. If you can see water in the brine tank, it is time to add salt. It is recommended to add salt whenever there is enough room to accommodate additional blocks or pellets. Additionally, the salt sensor paddle inside the brine tank will flip out and send a signal to the DROP Hub when the salt level drops below a certain point, indicating that it is time to add salt.
