1. Preparation: Before installing the bracket, measure and mark the desired location on the fascia board using a chalk line. Tack a string to the fascia board about 4 or 5 inches below the roof line, ensuring it is straight, level, and taut. Let one end of the string drop 1/4 inch per 10 feet, sloping toward the downspout.
2. Assemble Gutter Sections: Start assembling the gutter system on the ground, beginning at the end furthest from the downspout. Attach an end cap to the first piece of gutter.
