To change the coil on the Nokta PULSEDIVE Scuba Detector, follow these steps:
1. Detach the current coil by turning it counter clockwise.
2. Pull the coil out of the control unit.
3. Hold the new coil so that the threads are properly aligned.
4. Insert the new coil into the control unit and push it in.
5. To secure the new coil, insert the hard-shell case over the pointer coil and push it halfway forward.
6. Twist the coil clockwise to tighten it.
7. Lastly, push the hard-shell case all the way so it clicks into place.
It is important to note that when changing coils, you should align the plastic tab on the control unit with the opposing groove on the coil and twist clockwise to secure it. Also, make sure not to detach or change the coil underwater.
