To connect and configure the iJiNUS Battery Powered Loggers with Radio Wireless Connectivity, you will need the Avelour software and the Programing Wiji kit or Wiji key. Here are the steps:
1. Connect the Wiji kit or Wiji key to your computer's USB port.
2. Run the Avelour software.
3. Click on the "Connect to a wireless device" button in the software.
4. The logger will be visible by its part number (SN) without any additional activation needed.
5. Locate the sensor's serial number (SN) on the sensor label and click "OK".
6. On the first connection, only the serial number will appear. In subsequent connections, you will also see the name of the installation site or another name that you define.
7. Once connected, a pop-up may appear if the sensor already has measurements in memory, giving you options to retrieve the measures.
8. If the sensor is not up to date or if there is a new firmware developed since your last connection, a firmware update may be suggested. Read the messages in the options windows carefully and update the firmware if necessary.
9. After the sensor is ready, the Avelour software will display the sensor's configuration options.
10. In the "Measurement" part, you can configure the sensor by adding a water height measurement application and selecting the measurement frequency.
11. Calibration of the water height can be done by adjusting the water height or the maximal distance between the sensor and the bottom. The calibration process will vary depending on the complexity of the measurement scenario.
12. Once the calibration is done, click on the "Apply" button to validate the calibration and save the configuration.
13. The Avelour software also allows you to configure other parameters such as temperature recording, changing the measurement period based on height thresholds, and defining software overflow detection thresholds.
