To install the GE UCC15NPRII 15 Inch Built-In Gourmet Clear Ice Maker, you have two options: free-standing or built-in under the countertop. Here are the installation steps:
1. Ensure you have a properly grounded 115 Volt or 110 Volt, 60 Hz., AC power supply with a dedicated 15 amp fuse or circuit breaker.
2. Determine the location for the ice maker, keeping in mind the required dimensions: H 34-1/8" to 34-7/8", W 14-7/8", D 22-3/4" (depth including handle is approximately 25 1/2").
3. If a gravity drain is not available, you can install the optional Pump Kit UPK4, which can force drain water up to a maximum of 10 feet.
4. If you want a custom appearance, the ice machine door accepts 3/4" custom panels. Optional door panels and handle kits are available for purchase separately.
