To connect the KrugerandMatz KM0517 Turntable TT-602 to your computer for recording, you will need to follow these steps:
1. Connect an input source to the turntable: Make sure you have your vinyl record ready to play on the turntable.
2. Connect the USB lead to your computer: Use the provided USB cable to connect the turntable to an available USB port on your computer.
3. Open the Audacity program: Ensure that you have installed the Audacity software on your computer before proceeding. Open the Audacity program on your computer.
4. Select preferences in Audacity: Go to the Edit tab in the Audacity menu and select Preferences.
5. Choose the audio input and output settings: In the Audacity Preferences window, select the Audio I/O tab at the top left. Under Playback, choose your desired sound card from the Device dropdown menu. Under Recording, select "USB AUDIO CODEC" as the device. For Recording Channels, select "2 (stereo)".
