To measure AC leakage current using the KYORITSU KEW8140 Series Leakage Clamp Sensor, follow these steps:
1. Connect the Output connector of the sensor to the Input terminal of your measuring instrument.
2. Press the Trigger on the sensor to open the transformer jaws.
3. Clamp the sensor onto the conductor you want to measure. Make sure the measured conductor is at the center of the jaws.
4. Ensure that the tips of the transformer jaws are firmly closed.
5. Read the measured AC leakage current value on your measuring instrument.
Note: When measuring out of balance leakage current, clamp the sensor onto all conductors except the grounded wire. When measuring earth leakage current, clamp the sensor onto the grounded wire.
