According to the instruction manual, it is recommended to allow a minimum of 150 hours of burn-in time for the Odin 2 cables before expecting to hear the true benefits of your new cable purchase. However, the best way to burn-in the cables is to bring them to your local Nordost dealer for a VIDAR treatment. The VIDAR treatment dissipates trapped gases and improves the way signals pass through the cables, resulting in refined performance. If you do not have access to a VIDAR, Nordost also provides System Solution Set-Up & Tuning Discs that include system burn-in and degauss tracks for conditioning the cables on your own.
