To install the LG W11422896B Extended Drain Hose Kit, please follow these steps:
1. Unplug the machine or disconnect the power before servicing to ensure your safety.
2. Remove the existing drain hose outlet from the collection tank fitting.
3. Slowly but firmly pull out the drain hose from its fitting in the pump outlet and discard it.
4. Slowly but firmly push the longer drain hose onto the fitting of the pump outlet.
5. Plug in the machine or connect the power after servicing.
6. Insert the hose into the standpipe so that the end of the hose extends 4.5" (114 mm) into it. For a floor standpipe drain system, ensure that the minimum diameter of the standpipe drain is 2" (51 mm). The top of the standpipe must be at least 30" (762 mm) high, but not higher than 36" (910 mm) from the bottom of the dryer.
7. Be careful not to kink the extension drain hose when moving the dryer into position.
