To install the SILVERSTONE FS305-E Adapter Cage, please follow these steps:
1. Place the FS305-E into your chassis in the desired location.
2. Secure the adapter cage in place using screws.
3. Connect the SATA and power cables to the appropriate connectors on the FS305-E.
- The SATA cable should be connected to the 7 pin SATA connector.
- The power cable should be connected to the 15 pin SATA power connector.
4. If your motherboard supports fan speed monitoring, it is recommended to connect the 80mm PWM fan attached to the hard drive tray module to the fan header on the motherboard. This will allow you to adjust the fan speed as desired.
5. If you have a front hard drive tray, remove it from the chassis.
6. Secure your 2.5" or 3.5" drives onto the tray.
7. Place the tray back into the chassis and secure it.
