To install the LEDYi LY378-SECOBW30-W24 Side Emitting COB LED Strip, follow these steps:
1. Ensure the installation surface is clean and dry.
2. Peel off the protective backing of the 3M adhesive tape on the back of the LED strip.
3. Carefully position the LED strip on the desired surface and press it firmly to secure it in place.
4. Connect the LED strip to a 24V DC power supply using appropriate connectors or soldering.
5. Test the LED strip to ensure it is functioning properly.
Please note the following precautions for use:
- Avoid hitting the light-emitting area of the LED strip with hard objects to protect it.
- Use the LED strip within 24 hours after unpacking to prevent oxidation of solder joints.
- Avoid direct contact between the LED strip and high-temperature objects, ensuring the surface temperature of the light-emitting area stays below 210°C.
- When soldering, keep the soldering iron temperature below 300°C and limit the soldering time to 3 seconds per solder joint.
- Do not excessively twist the LED strip. The maximum twist angle for a single 0.5m strip is 720°.
- Ensure the bend diameter at any position is greater than 1cm.
