To set the time and program the EPH Controls R17 1 Zone Timeswitch, please follow the steps below:
1. Before starting any work on the electrical connections, make sure to disconnect the time switch from the mains power supply.
2. Mount the time switch either directly on the wall or to a recessed conduit box, following the installation instructions provided in the manual.
3. Once the time switch is installed, you can proceed with setting the time and programming it.
4. Lower the cover on the front of the time switch by releasing the four hinges holding it in place.
5. To perform a master reset, locate the circular hole between the 3rd and 4th hinges on the cover. Insert a ballpoint pen or similar object into the hole and press the master reset button. This will reset the time switch to its default settings.
6. After performing the master reset, you will need to reprogram the date and time. Use the buttons on the time switch to set the correct date and time according to the 24-hour clock format.
7. To program the ON/OFF schedule for your zone, refer to the programming instructions provided in the manual. The default program is 5/2D, which means the time switch operates on weekdays (Monday to Friday) with a separate program for weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
8. If you require the mains voltage output, terminals L and 1 must be electrically linked using the cable link provided with the time switch.
9. Once you have completed the programming and any necessary electrical connections, close the housing of the time switch.
