To install the BenQ EW2880U monitor and its software, please follow the steps below:
1. Unboxing and Setup:
- Open the package and take out the monitor and its accessories.
- Connect the monitor stand to the monitor base using the provided screws.
- Attach the monitor to the stand by sliding it onto the stand's mounting plate.
- Connect the power cable to the monitor and plug it into a power outlet.
- Connect the video cable (HDMI or DisplayPort) from your computer to the corresponding port on the monitor.
2. Software Installation:
- Insert the CD-ROM included in the package into your computer's optical drive. If your computer does not have an optical drive, you can download the software from the BenQ support website.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
- During the installation process, you will be prompted to install the Eye-CareU software. This software helps reduce eye strain by adjusting the monitor's color temperature and brightness based on ambient lighting conditions. You can choose to install it or skip the installation if desired.
3. Adjusting Monitor Settings:
- Once the monitor is connected and powered on, use the buttons on the monitor or the included remote control to access the OSD (On-Screen Display) menu.
- Use the navigation buttons to navigate through the menu and make adjustments to settings such as brightness, contrast, color temperature, and HDRi settings.
- Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on navigating the OSD menu and adjusting specific settings.
