To ensure safety and prevent injury or property damage, it is crucial to securely clamp or fasten the Rockler 43550 Trim Router Table to a stationary support. Follow these steps to properly secure the table:
1. Confirm that the Trim Router Table is securely clamped to a stationary support or fastened with screws through all three predrilled holes at the back of the table.
2. If using screws, attach the table to a longer piece of hardwood that is securely clamped to a stationary support. The dimensions for the cleat are provided in the instructions.
3. Use #8 screws of appropriate length for the thickness of your cleat material to drive through all three predrilled and counterbored holes along the back of the table into the cleat.
