To connect and use the XCELLON SH4-3H1HC-2 4 Port Powered Aluminum USB 3.0 Hub and Charger, please follow these steps:
1. Connect the hub to a power source: Plug the included DC 12V power adapter into the power input port on the hub.
2. Connect the hub to your computer: Use a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Standard-B cable (not included) to connect the hub's data port to a USB port on your computer. This will allow data transfer between your computer and the connected devices.
3. Check the power and connection status: The hub features LED indicators for power and PC connection. The power LED will light up when the hub is properly connected to a power source. The PC connection LED will light up when the hub is connected to your computer.
4. Connect devices to the hub: The hub provides four USB 3.2 Gen 1 data ports and one data/charging port. You can connect USB devices such as external hard drives, flash drives, keyboards, mice, and more to these ports. The data/charging port can also be used to charge compatible devices.
5. Power on/off the hub: The hub has a power switch located on its body. Use this switch to turn the hub on or off as needed.
