To clean the SLICED KITCHEN G50 SKS 100, 300 Series GRAEF slicer, follow these steps:
1. Remove the power plug before cleaning the unit.
2. Use a soft and moist cloth to clean the outer surfaces of the unit. Use a mild detergent in case of heavy soiling.
3. For a long-lasting sharpness and preservation of the blade, clean the blade in regular intervals, especially after cutting cured meat or ham. Use a moist cloth and a bit of detergent, if necessary, to clean the blade directly after use. Do not put the blade in a dishwasher.
4. To remove the blade, pull the slide towards yourself and undo the blade cover plate by turning it 45 degrees to the right. You can use a coin to turn the blade cover plate if needed. Turn the blade lock 90 degrees to the right and carefully remove the blade.
5. Use a moist cloth to clean the inside of the blade. From time to time, grease the cogwheel of the blade.
6. Place the blade and the blade cover plate back in reverse order. Place the blade cover plate and turn it clockwise by 45 degrees until it snaps in briefly.
7. To clean the slide, remove it from the unit by pulling the slide bar out on the right-hand side and pulling the slide towards yourself. Clean all parts with a moist cloth or running water. Do not clean the slide in a dishwasher.
8. Once a month, add a few drops of resin-free oil or petroleum jelly to the slideway. Use a soft cotton wool cloth to remove excessive oil or petroleum jelly.
