To use the defrost function on the Fisher Paykel CMO-24SS-3Y Combination Microwave Oven, please follow these steps:
1. Place the food you want to defrost on a microwave-safe plate or dish.
2. Open the microwave door and place the plate with the food inside the microwave.
3. Press the "Defrost" button on the control panel.
4. Use the number pad to enter the weight of the food in pounds or kilograms. For example, if the food weighs 1 pound, enter "1.0".
5. Press the "Start" button to begin the defrosting process.
6. The microwave will automatically calculate the defrosting time based on the weight entered.
7. During the defrosting process, the microwave will periodically pause and prompt you to turn or rearrange the food for more even defrosting. Follow the instructions on the display.
8. Once the defrosting process is complete, the microwave will beep to signal that the food is ready to be cooked or used.
Please note that the defrosting time may vary depending on the weight and type of food being defrosted. It is recommended to check the food periodically during the defrosting process to ensure it is thawing evenly.
