To adjust the hanging length of the fixture, follow these steps:
1. Determine the desired hanging length by adding or removing chain links. Note that the electrical and ground wires may also be cut to length, but only after the hanging length is determined.
2. Leave at least 6 inches of wire past the canopy chain loop to allow for easy connections in the next step.
3. Pass the wires through the xxxx , tapered cap, and pipe. Tighten the xxxx into the fixture and attach the cap onto the xxxx using the pipe, securing it tightly.
4. Pass the wires through the chain loop and tighten the chain loop to the pipe.
5. Attach one end of the chain to the loop on the pipe and the other end of the chain to the canopy loop using the quick links.
6. Continue to weave the wires through the chain links and up through the canopy loop.
By following these steps, you can adjust the hanging length of the Progress Lighting P400329 fixture to your desired height.
