To connect the AP-SP-037-BLA Foldable Solar Panel to a solar generator, follow these steps:
1. Before charging, turn off your devices to decrease their power consumption and shorten the charging time.
2. Place the solar panel in an area where it can receive the most sunlight. Adjust the angle of the panel to face the sun directly.
3. Ensure that the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight and avoid any possible shelters like buildings and trees.
4. For the best charging effect, angle the solar panel at 30-60 degrees, making it perpendicular to the sun.
5. If you need to adhere the solar panel to another surface, avoid damp or irregular surfaces as they may cause distortion after prolonged sunlight exposure. If distortion occurs, it can be corrected by exposing the panel to sunlight for a second time.
6. Choose the sunny hours of the day (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) for optimal charging efficiency. The panels operate at peak efficiency when the sun is most direct, typically around mid-day (12:00-1:00 pm).
7. Make sure there is a connection between the solar panel and the solar generator.
8. Plug the cable into the input of your device and the other end of the cable into the output of the solar panel. Unfold the solar panel to start the charging process.
9. If your device does not show a charging sign, try building the connection again or replace the charging cable.
10. Once the charging sign appears on your device, you can place it in a cool place for better heat dissipation. It is also recommended to turn off your device to save energy loss during its running hours, especially for laptops.
Note: If you are charging 12V/24V lead-acid batteries, including lithium batteries, it is advised to pair the charging with a solar regulator to protect the battery system from overcharging.
