To install the software for the scanace PF 135 PowerFilm Plus Scanner, please follow these steps:
1. Before connecting the scanner, make sure to install the software application first. Do not connect the scanner before installing the software.
2. Download the appropriate software for your operating system using the online link provided in the manual. Make sure to select the correct version (32-bit or 64-bit) for your system.
3. Once the software is downloaded, locate the installer file on your computer.
- For Windows users: Open the Downloads folder and double-click the installer file (PowerFilm_Windows...). If you encounter a warning message, select "More info..." and choose "Run Anyway" to proceed with the installation.
- For Mac users: Open the Downloads folder and double-click the installer file (PowerFilm_Mac xxx..). If you see an unidentified developer warning message, hold down the "Control" key on your keyboard and double-click the installer, then select "Open" to begin the installation.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation process.
5. Once the software is successfully installed, you can now connect the scanner to your computer. Make sure the scanner's power switch is in the OFF position before connecting.
6. Assemble the power adapter if you haven't done so already, and connect it to the back of the scanner. Then, connect the USB cable to the back of the scanner and to an appropriate USB port on your computer (avoid using hubs or front ports).
7. Power on the scanner and wait for a few minutes to allow your computer to connect the scanning device to the correct hardware drivers.
8. Open the scanning software (PowerFilm - CyberView PF135) from the desktop icon (for Windows) or under the Apple menu - Go - Applications - PowerFilm (for Mac).
You should now be able to use the scanace PF 135 PowerFilm Plus Scanner with the installed software.
