To adjust the sensitivity of the Laserliner 083 008 AC-Check Electrical Meter, follow these steps:
1. Locate the ON/OFF button on the device.
2. Turn on the device by pressing the ON/OFF button.
3. Once the device is turned on, you will see a wheel next to the detector tip. This wheel is used to adjust the sensitivity.
4. Rotate the wheel to increase or decrease the sensitivity of the device.
5. The sensitivity can be adjusted within the range of 5V/AC to 1000V/AC.
6. Adjust the sensitivity according to your needs and the specific voltage range you want to detect.
7. As you adjust the sensitivity, the detector tip will light up and a signal will sound if voltage is present.
8. Please note that even if a visual signal is not displayed, voltage may still be present. Factors such as the design of the connection socket or the insulation thickness and type can affect functionality. Voltage cannot be detected behind panels and metal covers.
It is important to always test the device on a known operational circuit within the specified voltage range before use. If the acoustic signal is weak or the battery lamp is not as bright as it should be, replace the batteries.
