1. Before starting the installation, make sure to turn off the power to the range hood at the circuit breaker.
2. Determine the desired location for the range hood insert. It should be installed at least 24 inches above the cooking surface.
3. Remove the existing range hood, if applicable, by disconnecting the electrical wires and removing any screws or brackets holding it in place.
4. Position the range hood insert in the desired location and mark the mounting holes on the underside of the cabinet.
5. Drill pilot holes at the marked locations to ensure easy installation.
6. Attach the mounting brackets to the range hood insert using the provided screws. Make sure they are securely fastened.
7. Lift the range hood insert into place and align the mounting brackets with the pilot holes.
8. Secure the range hood insert to the underside of the cabinet using the provided screws.
