To safely use the Cuisinart COH-600 Chiminea Propane Fire Pit, please follow the instructions provided in the manual. Here are the steps:
1. Safety Precautions:
- If you smell gas, shut off the gas to the appliance, extinguish any open flame, leave the area immediately, and contact your gas supplier or fire department.
- Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids near the fire pit.
- An LP-cylinder not connected for use should not be stored near the fire pit.
- Never use the fire pit in an enclosed space such as a camper, tent, car, or home, as it can produce carbon monoxide which is odorless and can be deadly.
2. Installation:
- Follow the installation instructions provided in the manual.
- Ensure the fire pit is placed on a stable and non-combustible surface.
- Connect the propane gas supply to the fire pit according to the instructions.
3. Operating:
- Make sure the propane gas supply is turned off before connecting or disconnecting the gas line.
- Open the propane gas supply valve slowly.
- Use the ignition system or a long match/lighter to ignite the fire pit.
- Adjust the flame height using the control xxxx .
