To clean the interior of the TIM thermal copier, follow these steps:
1. Open the maintenance hatch by pressing the push button.
2. Use a suitable cleaner (non-flammable!) or a lint-free cleaning cloth to remove any wax adhesions, impurities, or loose parts such as paper residues from internal parts of the copier.
3. To access the glass tube and drive roller, press the orange switch (S) located inside the copier to open the magnetically closing cleaning flap.
4. Select the desired position of the glass tube and drive roller by pressing the orange switch.
5. After cleaning, ensure that the copier is well ventilated with the cleaning lid open until no more moisture from the cleaning agent can be detected.
6. Close the cleaning flap and put the copier back into operation.
Please note that before cleaning the interior, the copier must be switched off and disconnected from the mains. The housing may only be opened by authorized qualified personnel.
