To adjust or calibrate the PCE-MA Instruments Precision Balance, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the balance is properly set up and leveled.
2. Press and hold the power button for approximately 6 seconds until "-CAL-" appears on the display.
3. After "-CAL-" appears, "100.00 g" will start flashing.
4. Place a 100 g calibration weight in the middle of the weighing platform.
5. The display will change from "100.00 g" to "=====".
6. When the display changes back to "100.00 g", remove the calibration weight from the weighing platform.
7. The display will show "=====" again and then change to "0.00 g" automatically.
8. The adjustment or calibration of the balance is now complete.
Please note that it is important to position the balance in a stable and vibration-free environment before performing the adjustment. Additionally, the adjustment should only be done after the balance has been allowed to warm up for approximately 30 minutes.
