Installation of the FOTILE EMS9026 36 Inch Stainless Steel Ducted Chimney Style Wall Mount Hood requires careful attention to ensure safe and efficient operation. Here are the step-by-step instructions for installation:
1. Before starting the installation, make sure to read the entire product manual and gather all the necessary tools mentioned in the manual.
2. Determine the position for the range hood installation. Ensure that the exhaust outlet is free of debris and that the ducting run is straight and short for optimal performance.
3. Prepare the wall for installation by drilling a hole using a 10mm drill bit. Insert the expansion pipe into the hole and secure it with the provided screws.
4. Attach the decorative cover pothook and the fixed pothook to the wall using the provided screws.
5. Fix the exhaust cover and upper seal mat on the top of the range hood using the duct cover screws.
6. Connect the exhaust pipe to the exhaust cover and seal it with aluminum foil tape to ensure a secure connection.
7. Hang the range hood on the wall, making sure it is level and securely attached.
8. Install the ring suction plate by inserting the pothooks on the rear side of the plate into the hook racks of the smoke collecting hood. Spiral the plate upward while pushing it in, and make sure the touch claw on the plate inserts into the touch button on the hood.
9. Install the blower outer cover and decorative cover by inserting the decorative cover into the decorative cover pothook and pushing it along the assembly to the end. The blower outer cover should slip down slowly and insert into the gap between the top panel and the blower rack.
10. Install the anti-collision accessories by sticking them to the corners of the range hood.
11. Install the oil cup by placing it in the designated area.
12. After completing the installation, plug the power cable into a socket and perform a thorough check of all functions. Ensure that the smoke baffle turns up, the lights work properly, and the motor turns normally.
