To assemble the Grainfather SF50 Conical Fermenter, follow these steps:
1. Assembling the Legs:
- Remove the large dome nuts from the body of the fermenter.
- Lay the fermenter gently on its side and mount each of the three legs onto the threaded bolts.
- Secure the dome nuts back into place, ensuring that all the legs are adjusted to the same height.
2. Assembling the Castors (Wheels):
- Push the tab down on each of the castors to lock them in place.
- Lay the fermenter gently on its side and xxxx the castors onto the bottom of the legs.
3. Assembling the Thermowell:
- Remove the nut from the thermowell, leaving the silicone O-ring in place.
- From the inside of the fermenter, feed the thermowell through the thermowell hole on the side of the body.
- Thread the nut back onto the thermowell from the outside of the fermenter and tighten by hand.
4. Assembling the Airlock & Tail Piece:
- Insert the tail of the three-piece airlock into the bung.
- To insert the sample valve tail piece, insert the end with the two o-rings into the sample valve on the inside of the fermenter. Twist the tail piece so that the other end is pointing down.
