To install the Panasonic ET-PKD120S Low Ceiling Mount Bracket, please follow these steps:
1. Read the entire instruction manual thoroughly before starting the installation.
2. Ensure that the installation is carried out by certified personnel to ensure safety.
3. Determine the appropriate positions for setting up the screen and installing the projector based on the height, width, and structure of the installation location.
4. Set up the screen according to the specified method, considering the projection distance, angle, and screen type.
5. Install the attachment plate to the ceiling using the appropriate method based on the ceiling structure (wooden or concrete). Use the supplied ceiling mount bolts, hex nuts, flat washers, spring washers, and anchoring nuts or curled plugs.
6. Securely fix the attachment plate to the ceiling beam or concrete ceiling, ensuring that it has enough strength to support the weight of the projector and the ceiling mount bracket.
7. Install the angle adjusting bracket to the projector mount bracket using the supplied captive washer screws.
8. Suspend the projector from the attachment plate by screwing the supplied captive washer hex head bolts halfway into two opposite side bolt holes in the attachment plate and inserting them into the hook section of the angle adjusting bracket.
9. Securely tighten the captive washer hex head bolts to secure the angle adjusting bracket to the attachment plate.
10. Pass the wire rope between the angle adjusting bracket and the attachment plate.
11. Attach the other end of the wire rope to the ceiling using the appropriate method based on the ceiling structure (wooden or concrete). Use commercially available anchoring nuts or curled plugs, hex head bolts, spring washers, and flat washers.
12. Adjust the installation angle of the ceiling mount bracket to ensure that the center of the projector lens is perpendicular to the surface of the projection screen. Refer to the manual for detailed instructions on adjusting the panning range, vertical tilt range, and horizontal tilt range.
13. Once the installation angle is adjusted, securely tighten all screws and bolts to their specified tightening torques.
14. After installation, have certified personnel return the installation instructions to you and keep them for future use.
