To install and set up the Hayward 061000 Swimming Pool Cleaner, follow these steps:
1. Choose a 230V socket (outlet) that is close and protected from short-circuits. Install a 30mA differential protection device to protect against electric shock.
2. Install the power supply box at least 3.5 meters from the edge of the pool. The standard length of the TigerShark cable is 18 meters. Plug the floating cable into the power supply box. Use only the original power supply box.
3. Lock the adaptable handle in the diagonal position to guarantee optimum cleaning results. Reverse the position of the handle after each use to enable the cord to be wound up without twisting.
4. Place the TigerShark in the pool. It will sink gently to the bottom as it empties itself of air.
5. Plug the power supply box into the socket and switch on the appliance. The TigerShark will perform a self-diagnostic test before it starts cleaning the pool. Do not switch on the TigerShark outside of the water to avoid damaging the pump and voiding the warranty.
6. The TigerShark will automatically switch off after a 4-hour cleaning cycle. If your pool is clean before 4 hours, you can manually switch off the cleaner by turning off the power supply box. If a second cleaning cycle is necessary, wait for 30 seconds before switching it back on.
7. Once the pool is clean, switch off the power supply box before removing the TigerShark from the water. Take it out from the shallow end of the pool by pulling the cable until the cleaner comes up to the surface. Lift it out gently using the handle, not the cable.
Remember to always check the height of the waterline on the TigerShark, clean the filter cartridge after each use, and replace worn brushes to maintain effective cleaning.
